A True Chicagoan
Born in Wicker Park, Chicago in 1996, assimilating into the best city in the United States was nothing but an exceptional experience. Being the youngest of four children provided me with an absolute amount of empirical knowledge as I got to see my siblings test drive many situations to pave the way for my choices based on their reactions to their experiences. The amount of love from my family allowed me to see things for what they are as well as inspire an infinite amount of hope in life. An example of my everlasting hope is that of which is invested towards the Chicago Bears winning a Super Bowl in the near future. While the rest of Chicago dwells on the horrific people who put ketchup on their hot dogs and the repeatedly losing Bears, I find hope in these mishaps because I believe that there are good people in the world who put ketchup on their hot dogs as well as I believe the Bears will relive their 1985 glory with more style! Well, I guess right about now you are interested in learning my other favorite professional teams.
NFL-Chicago Bears
NBA-Chicago Bulls
NHL-Chicago Blackhawks
MLB-Chicago White Sox
I bet you would have never guessed my favorite teams listed above, huh? I guess nowadays, you can understand why I must have an immense amount of hope because unfortunately my teams have not been performing well over the past few years. (Excluding the Blackhawks) Patience is a virtue and I know my continuous hope will pay off and end my long lasting patience!
I suppose it may be valuable to share some other small details about myself. My name is Brendan Schmidt, and yes my initials are indeed the greatest initials of all time-'BS' in which I'm sure many of you know what that means. I am currently seeking my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Illinois State University in which graduation is set for May of 2018. My favorite hobby includes watching my favorite sports teams!...getting absolutely annihilated. I aim to attract tourists from all over the world and bring them into the most prominent city of all time. Now that the icebreaker is completed, I hope you are excited to journey into the mind of A True Chicagoan!
