What is Atlas Stationers?
Atlas Stationers is the largest independent office products store in Chicago.   Started in 1939, Atlas has been family owned and currently enjoys participation from the 3rd and 4th generation.  Carrying over 100,000 items, Atlas seeks to help every customer find exactly what they need.  If a product is not in the retail shop, it can be ordered in by the next business day.  On top of this, the company offers FREE delivery within the Chicago Loop which is pretty much unbeatable. Atlas aims to give a 'Service that makes a world of difference.'

Review:
My first experience at Atlas Stationers is one that I will remember forever.  Stepping foot in this retail store was incredibly refreshing.  My first impression of the store was very optimistic as the vibe was perfect.  Walking into an office supply store that isn't corporate owned was a very satisfying feeling.  Originally I presumed that they only retailed office products but I was quickly proven wrong by the assortment of gag gifts, Chicago sport's memorabilia, children toys, greeting cards and much more that were available.  I shopped at Atlas around holiday season in which the store was filled with excited customers.  Accompanied by a qualified-friendly staff, I felt right at home while shopping at this location.  I had the opportunity to speak with a few of the staff members as well as many determined customers.  Both sets of individuals truly enjoyed being inside the store.  Right when I walked in, I was quickly greeted with a very polite voice as well as a very bright smile.  I knew the second I walked in that this store was for me.

My shopping experience was nothing but exceptional.  Many of my fellow customers stated that they enjoyed going into Atlas even if they didn't need anything!  They just enjoy looking around and seeing what's new as well as staying updated with how the employees are doing.  Talk about a friendly location!   It honestly felt like one big family between the customers and the employees which was definitely unforgettable.  After walking around for over a half hour, I finally gathered some items to purchased.  These items included a comedic coffee mug, a humorous magnet, some fuzzy socks for my girlfriend, and a nice soft cover planner.  Did I need any of these products? No. But they were just too awesome to pass up! Upon check-out, I instantly got sucked in to the display cases at the registers holding an assortment of creative and professional pens.  Ranging from ACME pens to Cross pens, Atlas has whatever style you're looking for.  Anyways, the checkout process was excellent.  I was indulged in a very entertaining conversation with the gentleman that cashed me out.  Overall, it just felt very natural being in that environment.

If you are in the Chicagoland area, I truly do suggest that you check this store out.  They cater to any needs one might have and they also give incredible customer service.  I will definitely be visiting again once I am back in Chicago.  A perfect 10/10 experience.  Don't miss out!!

PS-They also have their biggest sale of the year called The Sidewalk in August where they bring out thousands of products to the sidewalk at a discounted price.  This tradition has been going on for over 30 years so I will be sure to check it out!
