The Purpose

Schmidty's Den is an online trip advisory business in the tourism/travel industry.  The company has a series of blogs set on creating a world of laughter based on events in the Chicago-land area while incorporating personal experiences of Brendan J. Schmidt.  The goal is to give a laugh a day to every reader and show individuals that life should be about laughter and happiness.   Inspired by the beautiful city of Chicago, Brendan aims to attract tourists from around the world and bring them to the greatest city of all.  The term 'Schmidty' originates from the nickname coaches used to have for Brendan and the term 'Den' stems from the nickname of the hangout spot during his younger years. While the goal is to make everyone in the world laugh and bring people to Chicago, it is also to raise endless amounts of funds to those in need.  A few of Brendan's favorite Chicago-land charitable organizations include the Alliance for the Great Lakes, Northern Illinois Food Bank as well as Reach Rescue Inc.  The links to the donation pages can be found below.

A True Debate Ketchup on a Hotdog?
